OCI Generative AI Agents is in General Availability

The OCI Generative AI Agents service is now in General Availability in the US Midwest (Chicago) region.

This release includes several new and improved features such as:

• A simplified setup process
• Improved conversational AI with more correct and relevant responses
• A fully managed data ingestion pipeline with advanced features for efficient data retrieval
• Integration with OCI Search with OpenSearch with easier setup
• Chat history management to maintain conversation context
• Support for data retrieval from several modes, including text, charts, and graphics
• Integration with Oracle Database 23ai vector search for efficient database retrieval
• Hybrid search support combining lexical and semantic search methods
• Content moderation support to ensure safe and compliant conversations
