Logs

Application Dependency Management logs emit all the remediation recipes logs.

The Application Dependency Management service uses the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Logging service to manage logging. See Logging Overview for general information on logging.

Enabling Logs

You can enable log for a remediation recipe from the Remediation Recipes dashboard or when viewing the details of a remediation recipe.

  1. Open the navigation menu  and select Developer Services. Under App Dependency Management, select Remediation Recipes.
  2. Select Enable logging from the Actions menu (Actions Menu) of a remediation recipe.
  3. Select a log group or use the default group.
  4. Enter a name for the log.
  5. Select a duration to retain the log. Default is one month.
  6. Select Enable logging.

Disabling Logs

You can disable enabled log for a remediation recipe from the Remediation Recipes dashboard or when viewing the details of a remediation recipe.

  1. Open the navigation menu  and select Developer Services. Under App Dependency Management, select Remediation Recipes.
  2. Select Disable logging from the Actions menu (Actions Menu) of a remediation recipe.
  3. In the Disable logging dialog box, confirm to disable logging.
