Diagnosing Remote Agent Appliance Network Connectivity
Use the text-based user interface (TUI) application in the remote agent appliance to diagnose potential connectivity issues in Oracle Cloud Migrations.
The TUI application runs in the default console of the VM. This application
automatically performs the following network connectivity checks to help diagnose potential
issues:
- Network interface configuration
- Gateway functionality
- DNS functionality
- Proxy functionality (if used)
- Registration status
Accessing the application
To access this application, log on to vCenter using a vSphere client and select the remote agent appliance VM. You can use either the Launch Remote Console or Launch Web Console option found on the VM details page.
Note
The diagnostic tool automatically displays information related to the configuration of the remote agent appliance, including networking information, agent OCID, and diagnostic output. Only the users with access to the VM console in vSphere can view these details.
