Getting Started With Oracle Analytics Cloud
Use Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) with Resource Analytics.
Oracle Analytics Cloud is Oracle’s cloud-based platform for data analytics and visualization. Using it, you can analyze data, build interactive dashboards, perform advanced analytics, and share insights, all securely and at enterprise scale. OAC connects easily with various data sources and supports both self-service and guided analytics. Resource Analytics has created sample OAC dashboards that use your Resource Analytics data and help with visualization. Select OAC at point of install and OAC is deployed for you along with the sample dashboards. If you don't select the OAC option at creation of your Resource Analytics instance, you can add it later within the Resource Analytics Console application.
To install OAC at instance creation time check the appropriate box on the creation form, and carefully select the required options. OAC is provisioned and sample dashboards loaded for you to review as part of your Resource Analytics instance creation. For more information, see step 11 in Creating an Instance.
If, however, you select to not install OAC at time of Resource Analytics instance creation, you can install it later from within the Resource Analytics Console. To provision an OAC instance that's linked to your Resource Analytics data and contain sample dashboards for your use, go to the Instance Details Page for the instance you want to add OAC to, in the main page section under Instance Details are the selected instance's details. Read down the details until you come to the row,. OAC Enabled. It has a value of No assigned, meaning OAC wasn't installed earlier. Select Provision OAC to provision OAC.
A configuration screen appears with a few configuration options, the default setting is public endpoint for OAC, which means the OAC is accessible through the internet. It's possible to select a private endpoint option and configure a private network scenario if required. On completion of the form OAC is provisioned. Later the details of the OAC instance appear on this line of the instance details page.
If you need more detailed help, see the Oracle Analytics Cloud Documentation and step 9 of Updating an Instance.
