Enabling Sync of Metastore Metadata

Use Enable Sync to schedule the sync job to extract the technical metadata of a metastore data asset to your data catalog repository.

• 1. On the Home tab, click Data Assets. You can also click + from tabs and select Data Assets.
  2. Click the data asset for which you want to schedule the sync job.
  3. In the data asset details page, click Enable Sync.
  4. In the Enable Metastore Sync panel that appears, specify the schedule details as follows:
     • Frequency: Select the frequency of the sync job. The available options are Hourly and Daily.
     • Local start time: Select a date and time to start the syncing job.
     • Local end time: Select a date and time to end the syncing job.
  5. Click Save Changes.
