Monitoring Information
You can obtain system metrics of a workspace in Data Integration and run information for an application in a workspace.
The following pages describe how to access the Monitor Workspace page and Monitor Application page, and the information you can obtain from each page:
Monitoring a Workspace
The Monitor workspace page provides summary information about uptime and usage.
You can also get overview information about runs initiated from applications in a workspace.
To access the Monitor workspace page, from the workspace home page, click Monitor workspace
A workspace can be stopped and started on-demand. Based on all sessions of a workspace, the information you see is provided in two sections on the Monitor workspace page.
Workspace summary section
In the Workspace summary section, you can see:
- Workspace uptime: The time the workspace has been running since it was last started.
- Workspace usage: The accumulated time the workspace has been running since it was created.
- Total data processed: The accumulated source data read by all task runs that are initiated through all applications in the workspace.
Overview section
The Overview section shows run information for an application within a time period. You can:
- Use the Application menu to choose the application.
- Use the Start date and End date menus to specify a date and time range.
After picking an application and a date and time range, you can see the Total runs, which is the number of runs that are initiated within the specified period. Then within the triggered runs, you can see:
- Success: The number of runs that completed successfully
- Running: The number of runs that are still in progress
- Failed: The number of runs that failed
- Terminated: The number of runs that are deleted (terminated)
The sum of runs that are successful, in progress, failed, and deleted (terminated) is the total number of runs.
Monitoring an Application
View run information for an application within a specific time period.
From the details page of an application, you can access the Monitor application page and specify a date and time period to see the total number of triggered runs and the following run information:
- Success: Number of runs that completed successfully
