Delete

Use this action button to delete a fleet from your compartment.

Deleting a fleet moves it to a Deleted state, which implies it is no longer operational and no further actions can be performed on it. It is still possible to view the deleted fleet, but it cannot be restored or reverted to its previous state.
Click Delete and confirm your action in the Delete Fleet dialog.
  • Optional:
    • Click the checkbox to Permanently delete the associated log objects. This option is disabled by default. Checking this option deletes underlying log resources. If log resources are removed, you'll not be able to do analytics using the analytics service. If log resources aren't removed, you'll incur storage costs.
    • Click the checkbox to Permanently delete the associated install key.

The fleet is marked as deleted and traffic from managed instances is ignored by the fleet. A deleted fleet is kept for 90 days before it is permanently removed. Deletion has no effect on the agents deployed on the managed instances contained by the fleet. The agents need to be removed separately. See Removing Agent Software for more details.
