Rerunning a Failed Job

• 1. On the Jobs list page, under Completed jobs, select the failed job. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Jobs in a Compartment.
  2. Select Rerun failed job.
  3. Define the rerun job:

     Name: Enter a name for the job. The name doesn't need to be unique, because an Oracle Cloud Identifier (OCID) uniquely identifies the job. Avoid entering confidential information.

     Description: (Optional) Enter a description for the job. Avoid entering confidential information.

     Schedule: Select when to run the job.

     • Run immediately: Select this option to run the job now.
     • Schedule: Select this option to schedule the job to run at a future date and time.
  4. Select Create.

• Use the oci os-management-hub work-request rerun command and required parameters to rerun a failed job.

  oci os-management-hub work-request rerun --work-request-id ocid [OPTIONS]
