- Backup Retention
Recovery Service retains protected database backups for a minimum period of 14 days and a maximum period of 95 days. Long-term retention (LTR) backups can be retained for a period ranging from 90 days to 3650 days (10 years). - Recovery Window
Recovery window is the maximum length of time, counting backward from the current time, that a protected database can be recovered. - Retention Lock
Retention lock is an optional feature to safeguard your protected database backups from inadvertent changes or malicious damages, such as ransomware attacks. - Multicloud Oracle Database Backup Support
Recovery Service supports multicloud Oracle Databases, such as Oracle Database@Azure and Oracle Database@Google Cloud and provides the flexibility to store backups in the same cloud location where a multicloud database resides.
