Providing Access to Users

Provide access to a desktop by adding the user to the group associated with the compartment that contains the desktop pool. Then, provide the user with the URL used to access Secure Desktops.

  1. Assign the user to the group associated with the desktop pool. See Managing Users.
  2. Provide the desktop user with the URL to the Secure Desktops Interface.
    https://published.desktops.<region-id>.oci.oraclecloud.com/client

    Where <region-id> is your region identifier.

    For example, for the US East (Ashburn) region:

    https://published.desktops.us-ashburn-1.oci.oraclecloud.com/client

  3. The desktop user can then follow the steps in Connecting to Your Desktop.
