Create and manage, users, groups, and application roles.

Create and Manage Users

Manually create users in the Oracle Identity Cloud Service instance associated with Resource Analytics - OAC Instance. For more information, see Managing Users in the IAM documentation.

Create and Manage Groups

Map application roles to groups, and add users to groups. This lets users access the applicable objects and data in Resource Analytics and perform various tasks. For more information, see Managing Dynamic Groups.

Creating an Application Role

Create custom duty and data roles.

You can create custom duty and data roles to secure subject areas, front-end objects, and row-level data when the predefined application roles don't meet your business needs.

  1. Open the Application Roles page. If you need help finding it, see Listing Application Roles
  2. Select New Application Role.
  3. Enter the name of the new application role.
  4. Specify the role type as data or duty.
  5. Select Save.
