- API Versions Affected: 20160918
You can now create an access control list (ACL) for your Autonomous Database after you provision it by using the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Console or the API. An ACL provides additional protection for your database by allowing only the IP addresses in the list to connect to the database. For more information about ACLs, see Access Control List (ACL). To learn how to create, update and delete an ACL, see To manage the access control list of an Autonomous Database.
