Application Performance Monitoring Traces
You can monitor traces and spans that are uploaded using Application Performance Monitoring data sources in Trace Explorer. Traces are used to track the time spent by an application processing a request and the status. Each trace consists of one or more spans, and the list of traces in Trace Explorer is a list of root spans, which is the beginning of a transaction.
