Editing a Web Application Firewall Policy

Update a web application firewall (WAF) policy's configuration.

• Console
• CLI
• API

• You can edit only the name of a policy when using the Console.

  1. Open the navigation menu and click Identity & Security. Under Web Application Firewall, click Policies.
  2. On the Policies page, select the compartment that contains the policy.
  3. (Optional) Filter the listed policies by name, status, policy type (WAF policy), or creation date.
  4. Click the name of the WAF policy that you want to rename.
  5. On the policy details page, click Rename.
  6. In the Rename policy dialog box, edit the name of the policy.
  7. Click Save changes.

• Use the oci waf web-app-firewall-policy update command and required parameters to edit a web application firewall policy:
