Data Labeling Errors
If you get an error or warning in Data Labeling, see these error messages for help.

Failed to Generate Records
The error might appear in these two work requests:
- Create Dataset
- Generate Dataset Records
- You have exhausted resources or quota limits.
- Object storage bucket validation has failed because the bucket does not exist.
- Object storage bucket validation has failed because you do not have permission to access it.
- The tenancy compute limit is exhausted.
Possible solutions:
- Check if there are enough limits available for the records to be generated

- In the Console, go to the Limits page. Make sure you are in your tenancy.
- For Service, select
Data Labeling
. - For Scope, select the region where you have the problem.
- For Resource, select
Record count.
- For Compartment, select the compartment where the dataset is.
- Check the number of available records.
- If the number of available records is less than the number of records to be generated, click Service limit increase requested.
- Enter your Name and Email address.
- For Service, select
Data Labeling
. - For Resource, select
Record count.
- In Description, enter an explanation of your need.
- Verify if you can still access the bucket

- In the Console, go to the Buckets page. Make sure you are in your tenancy.
- For Compartment, select the one you used when creating the dataset.
- For Bucket, select the one you used when creating the dataset.
- Confirm all the records are in the bucket.
- Check the policy to access the bucket

- In the Console, go to the Policies page.
- Confirm the policies in step 4 of Setting Up User Policies are correct for your user group and the Object Storage compartment where the bucket is.
- If they do not exist, add them.
Failed to Validate Bucket
The error might appear in these two work requests:
- Create Dataset
- Generate Dataset Records
- Object storage bucket validation has failed because you cannot access it.
Possible solutions:
- Verify if you can still access the bucket

- In the Console, go to the Buckets page. Make sure you are in your tenancy.
- For Compartment, select the one you used when creating the dataset.
- For Bucket, select the one you used when creating the dataset.
- Confirm all the records are in the bucket.
- Check the policy to access the bucket

- In the Console, go to the Policies page.
- Confirm the policies in step 4 of Setting Up User Policies are correct for your user group and the Object Storage compartment where the bucket is.
- If they do not exist, add them.
Failed to Update Dataset
The error might appear in these five work requests:
- Create Dataset
- Generate Dataset Records
- Update Dataset
- Snapshot Dataset
- Delete Dataset
- Internal service issues.
Possible solutions:
- Raise a ticket with Oracle support.
Failed to Generate Snapshot
The error might appear in this work request:
- Snapshot Dataset
- You do not have access to the bucket the snapshot is exported to.
Possible solutions:
- Verify if your access to the bucket is valid

- In the Console, go to the Buckets page.
- For Compartment, select the compartment used when exporting the dataset.
- For Bucket, select the bucket used when exporting the dataset.
- Confirm all the records are in the bucket.
- Check the policy to access the bucket

- In the Console, go to the Policies page.
- Confirm the policies in step 4 of Setting Up User Policies are correct for your user group and the Object Storage compartment where the bucket is.
- If they do not exist, add them.
Failed to Get Dataset Details
The error might appear in these five work requests:
- Create Dataset
- Generate Dataset Records
- Update Dataset
- Snapshot Dataset
- Delete Dataset
- Internal service issues.
Possible solutions:
- Raise a ticket with Oracle support.
Failed to Delete Dataset
The error might appear in this work request:
- Delete Dataset
- Internal service issues.
Possible solutions:
- Raise a ticket with Oracle support.
Failed to Create Workload Status File in Bucket
The error might appear in these two work requests:
- Generate Dataset Records
- Snapshot Dataset
- Internal service issues.
Possible solutions:
- Raise a ticket with Oracle support.
