If you are using Oracle Logging Analytics in multiple regions, then you can export and re-import your configuration
content. You can also use this if you want to store a copy of your definitions outside of
Oracle Logging Analytics.
Open the navigation
menu and click Observability & Management. Under
Logging Analytics, click
Administration. The Administration
Overview page opens.
Click Import Configuration Content.
The Import Configuration Content dialog box opens.
Upload the configuration file by dragging and dropping it to the specific area or
select it by specifying the path. You can optionally choose to overwrite the
existing sources and parsers if they have the same name.
Click Import.
Export the Content from Logging Analytics 🔗
You can export the log parsers and user-defined sources to an XML file using
the Oracle Logging Analytics user
interface.
When you export a source, the associated parsers, extended field definitions
and labels are also exported to the XML file.

menu and click Observability & Management. Under
Logging Analytics, click
Administration. The Administration
Overview page opens.
The administration resources are listed in
the left hand navigation pane under
Resources. Click
Sources.
The Sources page is displayed.
Click the Actions icon in the row of the source that you want
to export. Click Export Definition.
A zip file is generated for download.
Specify a location on your host to store the zip
file.
Unzip the zip file to recover the XML file containing the log source that you
selected for export.
Export the Parsers 🔗
Export the user-defined log parsers from the log parsers page to an xml file.
Note
When you export a source, the associated parsers, extended field
definitions and labels are also exported to the XML file. Exporting a parser
selectively, with the steps listed below, is useful when the parser is not yet
used in a source.

Parsers.
The Log Parsers page is displayed.
Click the Actions icon in the row of the log parser that you want to export.
