SSH Connection Issues
If you're unable to connect to an Oracle Linux instance on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using SSH, review the following information.
- SSH Login Denied Using PuTTYgen Key Files: "Permission denied (publickey,gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic)"
- SSH Fails with Error: "Authentication Refused: Bad Ownership Or Modes For Directory "
- SSH Error: connect to host w.x.y.z port 22: Operation timed out
- SSH: Connect to host w.x.y.z port 22: Connection refused
- <user-name>@w.x.y.z: Permission denied (publickey,gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic)
