Setting Up Contextual Notifications for an Instance
A contextual notification is a configuration for sending messages, such as an alarm or event rule. Each message is sent to subscriptions in the specified topic. Quick start templates are available. Contextual notifications are available for compute instances.
Before You Begin
For administrators: To set up contextual notifications for an instance, use the following policy.
allow group ContextualNotificationsUsers to manage alarms in tenancy
allow group ContextualNotificationsUsers to read metrics in tenancy
allow group ContextualNotificationsUsers to manage ons-topics in tenancy
allow group ContextualNotificationsUsers to manage cloudevents-rules in tenancy
