Tagging a Stack
Add tag metadata to a stack in Resource Manager. Tags are key-value pairs that you attach to resources to help you organize and track the resources across compartments.
If you have permissions to create a resource, you also have permissions to apply free-form tags to that resource. To apply a defined tag, you must have permissions to use the tag namespace. For more information about tagging, see Resource Tags.
- On the Stacks list page, select the stack that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the stack, see Listing Stacks.
- To add a tag, go to More actions, select Add tags, and enter the tag namespace, key, and value.
- To view existing tags, select the Tags tab and then select Defined tags or Free-form tags.
- To edit an existing tag, select the edit icon, update the value in the Edit tag dialog box, and then select Save.
- To remove a tag, select the edit icon and then select Remove tag.
