Adding a Resource to Zero Trust Packet Routing

Apply a security attribute to a resource in the Zero Trust Packet Routing (ZPR) service.

Caution

You can create a security attribute without a ZPR policy in place, but you must define a ZPR policy before you apply a security attribute to a resource. Otherwise the resource is rendered inaccessible despite any existing security lists or NSG (network security group)  rules.
  1. Open the navigation menu and click Identity & Security. Under Zero Trust Packet Routing, select Protected Resources.
  2. Select Add security attribute to resources. The Select resource page displays a list of resources that are available to add.
    Tip

You can filter the list of resources by compartment and resource type.
  3. Select one or more resources to add a security attribute to.
  4. Select Next.
  5. Select the security attribute namespace that contains the security attribute, and then select the security attribute.
  6. Select the security attribute value.
  7. (Optional) Click Add security attribute to add another security attribute to the resource.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Review the resource information, and click Submit.
