Adding a Resource to Zero Trust Packet Routing

Apply a security attribute to a resource in the Zero Trust Packet Routing (ZPR) service.

Caution

You can create a security attribute without a ZPR policy in place, but you must define a ZPR policy before you apply a security attribute to a resource, otherwise the resource is rendered inaccessible despite any existing security lists or NSG (network security group)  rules.
  1. Open the navigation menu, click Identity & Security, and then click Zero Trust Packet Routing.
  2. Under List scope, select a compartment from the Compartment list.
  3. Click Resources.
  4. Click Add security attribute to resources. A list is displayed of resources that are available to add.
    Tip

You can filter by Compartment and Resource Type to narrow the list of resources.
  5. Select the resource that you want to add to the security attribute namespace.
    Tip

You can select more than one resource.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Select the Security Attribute Namespace and the Security attribute.
  8. (Optional) Select the Security attribute value.
  9. (Optional) Click Add security attribute to add another security attribute to the resource.
