Log scale allow a large range of values to be displayed without small values being compressed down into bottom of the graph. This option uses a logarithmic scale to better show small and large values together.

1. Open the navigation menu and click Observability & Management. Under Logging Analytics, click Log Explorer.
2. Search for logs for a set of entities. See Search Logs by Entities.
3. From the Visualize panel, select any visualization containing a histogram ( and ), bar chart ( and ), or line chart ().
4. Click Show Log Scale to view the smaller values that aren’t otherwise visible on the chart.
   This option is displayed only when the chart contains bars that aren’t visible. This option is also useful to highlight small values.
