Uninstalling the Instance Security Agent

If you no longer want to use the Instance Security agent you can uninstall it.

Note

Once you have uninstalled the Instance Security agent, you have to install it to run it again.

Uninstall the Instance Security agent using the appropriate commands for your operating system.


Operating system	Uninstall steps
Linux	`sudo yum remove wlp-agent` or `sudo rpm -e wlp-agent`
Debian	`sudo apt-get remove wlp-agent` or `sudo dpkg -r wlp-agent`
Windows	Open Control Panel. Select Programs and Features. Under Uninstall or change a program, find Oracle Workload Protection Agent and double-select to uninstall. You don't need to restart Windows after this uninstall.
