Viewing the Reporting Region

View the name of the reporting region that Cloud Guard is using.

Note

The geographic location of the reporting region commits your organization to comply with all legal requirements of the country where the reporting region is hosted. See Carefully Choose Your Reporting Region.

The Cloud Guard reporting region is not the same thing as the OCI home region. In all configuration and troubleshooting tasks that you perform after enablement, you must specify the Cloud Guard reporting region, not the OCI home region.

    1. Open the navigation menu and click Identity & Security. Under Cloud Guard, click Configuration.
    2. On the Configuration page, click Settings.
    3. On the Settings section, view the information for the Reporting region in the table.

    Use the oci cloud-guard configuration get command and required parameters to get the details of the configuration for a Cloud Guard tenancy, which includes the reporting region:

    oci cloud-guard configuration get --compartment-id, -c <compartment_ocid> [OPTIONS]

  • Run the GetConfiguration operation to get the details of the configuration for a Cloud Guard tenancy, which includes the reporting region.
