Deleting a Custom Property

When you delete a custom property that's associated with one or more data catalog objects, the custom property is no longer displayed in the data catalog object details.

• 1. On the Home tab of the instance for which you want to delete the custom properties, click Custom Properties.
  2. On the Custom Properties page, click the name of the custom property that you want to delete.
  3. On the details page of the custom property, click Delete.
  4. In the Delete Custom Property dialog box, type Delete to confirm and click Delete.

  A delete job is created and the custom property gets deleted.

• Use the delete command and required parameters to delete a custom property:

  oci data-catalog custom-property delete [OPTIONS]
