Attaching a Private Endpoint

You attach a private endpoint to a Data Flow Application to enable the Application to run using the configured private network.

You can attach only one private endpoint to an Application, but you can attach a private endpoint to many Applications. Before you attach a private endpoint to an Application, you must create a private endpoint.

  • Follow these steps in the Console to attach a private endpoint.

    1. Open the navigation menu, and click Analytics and AI. Under Data Lake click Data Flow.
    2. In the left-side menu, click Applications.
    3. Under List scope, select the compartment that contains the Application to use with the private endpoint.
    4. Click the name of the Application.
    5. On the Application details page, click Edit.
    6. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit application panel, and click Show advanced options.
    7. In the Choose network access section, select Secure access to private subnet.
    8. Select the private endpoint that you want to attach to the Application. Click Change compartment if it's in a different compartment to the Application.
    9. Click Save changes.
