Exporting a Folder, Task, Data Flow, or Pipeline

• 1. Navigate to the workspace in which you want to export a folder, task, data flow, or pipeline.

     For the steps to access a workspace, see Accessing a Workspace.

  2. On the workspace home page, click Projects.
  3. On the Projects page, click the name of the project that contains the object that you want to export.
  4. On the project details page, click Folders.
  5. (Optional) Click the name of the folder.

     If the task, data flow, or pipeline that you want to export is in another folder, click the subfolder name in the folders list.

  6. To export a folder, select Export from the Actions menu () of the folder in the list of folders.
  7. To export a task, data flow, or pipeline, perform the following actions:
     1. On the project or folder details page, click Tasks, Data flows, or Pipelines to select the object type that you want to export.
     2. In the list of objects, select Export from the Actions menu () of the object.
  8. In the Export <object type> panel, enter the following details:

     • Tenancy OCID: Enter the Oracle Cloud ID of the tenancy in which you want to save the exported zip file.

       The namespace is a system-generated value based on the tenancy OCID that you enter.

     • OCI region: Select the region in the tenancy.
     • Compartment: Select the compartment that contains the Object Storage bucket that you want to use.
     • Bucket: Select the bucket.

     • File name: Enter the file name for the export object zip file.

       Depending on the object type that you're exporting, Data Integration appends a string to the file name when the zip file is created.

       • .folder.zip for a folder

       • .task.zip for a task

       • .dataflow.zip for a data flow

       • .pipeline.zip for a pipeline

     • Overwrite the existing exported zip file: Select the checkbox if you want to overwrite the zip file when the file name that you provide already exists.
  9. Click Export.

     A notification message appears with a View export requests link. Click the link to monitor the request status on the Export/Import requests page. See Monitoring Export and Import Requests.

• Use the oci data-integration export-request create command and required parameters to export the object:

  oci data-integration export-request create [OPTIONS]

• Run the CreateExportRequest operation with the appropriate request details to export the object.
