Viewing an Application's Details

View the details of an application in Data Integration.

When Data lineage generation is enabled in the application, Data Integration generates lineage information for the data entities that are processed in the application. The generated lineage metadata is available for viewing only in the Data Catalog service. For complete information about data lineage, the supported data source types and tasks, and the level of support in some operators, see the following pages in the Data Catalog service documentation:

You can access the following resources from the application details page:

    1. On the workspace home page, click Applications.
    2. On the Applications page, select the compartment that contains the application.
    3. In the applications list, click the name of the application that you want to view.

      The application details page opens.

If the application was created as a copy of another application, Source application shows the name of the application that this application is a copy of. If the source name is truncated, click the tip icon to see the full name. To see more details, click View details next to the tip icon. You can see details such as the OCID of the source application, and the source's workspace and compartment and their OCID values. To sync the application with changes from the source application, see Syncing an Application.

If the application was created by using an application template, you can click View details next to Additional information to show detailed descriptions and prerequisites, and information about how to use the template.
