Adding Vendor Software Sources to a Custom Software Source

Expand the available content of an existing custom software source by adding vendor software sources to it in OS Management Hub.

    1. On the Software Sources list page, select the name of the software source. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Software Sources.
    2. Under Resources, select Associated software sources.
    3. Under List scope, select the compartment for the software source.
    4. Under Associated software sources, select Add.
    5. On the Add software source panel, select the available vendor software sources to add.
    6. Select Add.
    7. Modify filters or the package list to specify content.
  • Use the oci os-management-hub software-source update-custom-swsrc command and required parameters to update a custom software source, such as adding or removing software sources.

    oci os-management-hub software-source update-custom-swsrc --software-source-id ocid --vendor-software-sources software-source-ocids [OPTIONS]
