Removing Vendor Software Sources from a Custom Software Source

Remove a vendor software source from a custom software source in OS Management Hub to make content unavailable to instances that use the custom software source.

A custom software source must contain at least one vendor software source.

Important

Removing software sources might prevent instances that use the custom software source from receiving updates.

    1. Open the navigation menu and click Observability & Management. Under OS Management Hub, click Software sources.
    2. Under List scope, select the compartment that contains the software source you're interested in.
    3. Click the name of the custom software source.
    4. Under Resources, click Associated software sources.
    5. Under List scope, select the compartment for the software source.
    6. Select the vendor software sources to remove.
    7. Click Remove.
  • Use the oci os-management-hub software-source update-custom-swsrc command and required parameters to update a custom software source, such as adding or removing software sources.

    oci os-management-hub software-source update-custom-swsrc --software-source-id ocid --vendor-software-sources software-source-ocids [OPTIONS]
