Disaster Recovery Support

Learn about the disaster recovery capabilities of Fusion Applications.

Disaster Recovery (DR) services for Oracle Fusion Applications environment management are intended to provide service restoration capability in the event of a major disaster, as declared by Oracle. Oracle will determine whether an event constitutes a disaster requiring the execution of the DR plan.

What to Expect During and After Switchover

While the environment switchover to the standby region is in progress, you can't make any updates to the environment or perform environment lifecycle management activities. Your Fusion Applications are unavailable until the switchover is complete. A banner message on the environment details page notifies you that a switchover is in progress.

When the environment is live in the standby region, your Fusion Applications are available, but environment lifecycle management capabilities are disabled. A banner message on the environment details page notifies you that the environment is running in the standby region.
